George Eppright Obituary
Bill was born April 25, 1946 in Warrensburg, Missouri, son of George McElwee Eppright and
Raudolin Valentine (Dow) Eppright. He graduated from Chilhowee High School. He was united
in marriage to his wife, Donna June Houx on December 31, 1994 in Centerview. The couple
would make their home in Chilhowee. Bill's employment history included Missouri Gas Energy
until retiring in 2008 and farming. He enjoyed travelling and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughter, Christine Riecke (Keith) of Wentzville, MO; son, David Eppright
(Stefanie) of Centerview, MO; daughter-in-law, Diana Taylor of Centerview, MO; sister, Marolin
Kelly of Augusta, KS; ex-wife, Holli Burge of Warrensburg, MO; nephews, Barney and Jimmy;
Niece, Julie; seven grandchildren, Nicole Taylor, Jackson Riecke, Sam Riecke, Mayzie Eppright,
Hunter, Maddox and Ryker; nine great grandchildren and special fur baby, ""Rascal."" Bill was
preceded in death by his parents, George and Raudolin Eppright; wife, Donna Eppright;
stepson, Timothy Taylor; and niece, Anne McPherson.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2024 at Northside Christian
Church in Warrensburg with Rev. Sid Tiller officiating. Interment will follow at Pisgah Cemetery,
located north of Chilhowee. Pallbearers will be Brady Bryan, Scott Simmons, Keith Riecke, Sam
Riecke, Jackson Riecke, and Greg Callahan. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Short, Jimmy
Kelly, Barney Kelly, and Ron Shaw.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.
