ADA WALKER Obituary
Ada Bernice Lincoln Walker (Age 96)
Entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Loving wife of Thomas J. Walker (deceased), survived by her children Thomas P. Walker (Evelyn), Shirley A. Walker, Michelle D. Walker Henry, and George K. Walker; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Daughters, Margurite Walker White and Lorraine Walker preceded her in death. Visitation on March 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Paul AME Church, 4901 14th St, NW, Washington, DC and March 29 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Mt. Ennon Baptist Church, 9832 Piscataway Rd., Clinton, MD, followed by Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m.

Mrs. Walker was our neighbor on Otis Place 12 years ago. We will always remember how feisty she was, her love for her Family and friends. She was always out doing something and we loved her for her drive and friendship. Hope that we can live a life as full as hers and will always remember how kind and welcoming she was. Mrs. Walker was my grandmother's best friend and our second grandmother. We have enjoyed many visits to her home and former church in N.W. Washington. Our last visit with her in her home in Clinton was very precious to us. Her daughter Shirley made us feel very welcomed. Our Condolences to all of the family. Frank & Frances Watson.

To the Walker family, I never met someone so sweet and kind. Mama Walker took me in as one of her own daughters when I was a teenager in college with my dear friend Lorraine. I will always cherish the memories of her loving and caring spirit towards me. May God keep, strengthen and grant you peace and comfort as you continue on. Thank you for sharing your mom with me.
