Ahmaad Jamal Smith
Ahmaad Jamal Smith, affectionately known as "Maady" and "Big Boy" transitioned peacefully at 5:29 a.m. on April 23, 2023. He is survived by his mother Gloria Martin-Smith, Brother Ahkeem (Ashley), nephew and niece Kai and Kayla Smith, and a host of aunts, uncles and caregivers. The homegoing service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Upper Marlboro located at 7415 Crain Hwy., Upper Marlboro, MD 20772 on Friday, May 5, 2023. The viewing will be at 9 a.m. and the service will be at 10 a.m. He will be buried at Quantico National Cemetery located at 18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172.
