Dear Phyllis.
I am so sorry that Alan has passed. He was a good man and treated me most graciously when I visited your home. Both you and Alan have been great friends to my sister, which I do appreciate. Alan had along struggle with his illness, but had a very strong supportive family. I am glad to have known Alan and I will remember him always. I will remember Alan in my daily prayers and thoughts
