Alan Rudd Obituary



RUDD ALAN B. RUDD Alan Bruce Rudd, 71 of Fredericksburg, VA formerly of Falls Church, VA died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Mary Washington Hospital, of heart failure after a long battle with prostate cancer. Mr. Rudd was a U.S. Army veteran and a graduate of American University. He was a Mason and the owner of A.B. Rudd Realty in Arlington, VA. Survivors include his wife, Margaret J. "Peggy" Rudd; a daughter, Tracy Towberman of Burke, VA ; and two granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Kristen Towberman, of Burke. A funeral service will be held at Noon Tuesday, April 27 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Kelley officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Quantico National Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, April 26 at the funeral home.
