Dad,
Mom has now joined you in Heaven. It was a long journey but she followed the path faithfully. We will miss you both so much but rejoice that you are now together for eternity.
Thanks and Blessings to all of our family and friends who stood by and helped us during this trying time.

So our hero left us the other day. A dad who loved family and togetherness. A father who loved the joy of life. Of course the disease dad suffered from robbed him of much of this in recent years. The responsible adult in me has been preparing for this day, saying this is a blessing, for dad was very ill. But the "little boy" in me says my dad , my hero, is gone. I won't be able to visit him anymore, and that hurts.
Dad, I will be forever grateful for the life you provided for us, growing up at Willow Grove. Generation after generation touched by your love and mothers love. Blessed to be part of your life and family. I trust and have faith you are whole again. The dad we all remember and love. Reunited with loved ones who have gone before us. A new kind of family reunion. God Bless.

Dad Lauer has rejoined his family in heaven and is watching over us. Let us remember the influence he had on all our lives and live accordingly. Dad is at peace at last. Thank you Dad for being a part of my life.
P.S. I'm sure he found a pair of white shoes up there............
