ALEXANDER BRYAN HOOK
On Saturday, July 30, 2016. Devoted father of Lisa Hook and Daniel Goodman. He is also survived by step-son, Marco Singleton; four grandchildren, Juwan Cheeks, Monae Singleton, Marqual Singleton and MyChal Singleton; two brothers, Ralph Hook, Sr. (Geraldine) and Anthony Hook (Luticia), a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation, 9 a.m. until time of service, 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 10 at Pope Funeral Home, Forestville Chapel, 5538 Marlboro Pike. Interment Lincoln Cemetery.

Dearest family of Byrd, He was so very helpful....just last year at the AHS cookout he gave me the keys to his Thunderbird and adjusted the seat so I could get photos of me in the "thunderbird". A few weeks later I shared with him that I actually test drove a candle apple red Thunderbird. He spent about 20 minutes answering questions and giving me good advice about the car.

Then there was the Hook/Bryant reunion at Six Flags many moons ago and Byrd was so funny dancing to Flashback.

Then there was just 7 months ago when we both comforted each other at the transition of his biological and my chosen aunt Lucille.

Enjoy your eternal home Byrd as you become an ancestral angel to your children and all who love you. Now you can see all of us from "Byrd's Eye View".

It goes without saying,Bryd was a sweetheart. Whenever we encounter one another he would smile, and said nothing but kind words. I remember asking Bryd if he would do a photo shot of me when I got ready whenever we saw each other, he would smile and we would talk every time I would say,"I'm still not ready." he would say, "Just let me know when you're ready." It saddens my heart, I kept putting it off. The last time I saw Bryd was at mutual, friends funeral.Lesson learned don't put off until tomorrow for what you can do today, tomorrow is not promised.I love you Bryd and miss you dearly. To Anthony, Frank, and everyone who loved Alexander Bryan Hooks I offer you my Deepest Condolence and may God comfort all of you during your time of mourning.
