On Monday, November 28, 2005 of Washington Grove, MD. Beloved wife of the late John Arthur Ghrist and the late Charles Townsend Mahaffey; loving mother of John Alton Ghrist and Alton Tear Ghrist; sister of Gertrude Plummer. Also survived by seven grandchildren, Betsy (Hasman), Carol (Bouchlaghem), Charles and Thomas Mahaffey, Prose, Aurora and Mark Cassells; and five great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at McCathran Hall, 300 Grove Ave., Washington Grove, MD 20880 on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 12 Noon. Interment private. Arrangements by DeVOL.
