Alice Kathryn Maloney

On Friday, August 29, 2025 at Fair Oaks Hospital Alice Kathryn Maloney, age 75 (maybe, there has always been a veil of mystery surrounding her actual date of birth), peacefully passed from this life pursuing a new adventure in the next. Alice was the second child of Frank A. and Mary Kathryn Maloney and lived her entire life in Fairfax County. Alice was a lover of the arts starting in high school where she often starred in the musical productions. This led her to many shows on Broadway. Her lovely Irish voice kept her in demand at events and venues both here and abroad. She was in residence at Le Canard for decades, delighting audiences from near and far. As a business magnate she made her fortune in Real Estate and Cheesecake manufacturing – which would only follow due to her artistry in the kitchen. Alice loved to travel and with her worldwide adventures she was greeted by Kings, Queens, Princes and Potentates. She passed this love of travel onto her many nieces and nephews.
Most of all, this loving, giving and generous woman loved and cherished her family (her many nieces and nephew, brothers and sister, and the love of her life "Saint" Craig Walker, whom she met in 1968), her beloved pets, and her friends. She leaves behind so many friends and family and will be greatly missed.
