On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, ALLAN AKMAN of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband of 48 years of Janet Akman; loving father of Michael (Annette) Akman and Joe Akman (Jessica Veffer); adoring grandfather of Max, Talia, Pearl and Rose Akman; and devoted brother of Barbara Caplan (the late Stanley), Jerome (Susan) Akman, and Larry (Nonie) Akman. Allan ran his own business, Akman Associates, Inc., for many years supporting manpower planning for the United States military and was a lifelong artist, spending his retirement years as a screen printer at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center in Hyattsville, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HIAS, Silver Spring, MD or Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, Hyattsville, MD.
