Brother Aloysius Florio was a great Friar,a friend and a great prayerful person. I met Bro. Aloysius in Nazareth when I was stationed there. At that time he was the principal of the boys' school, while I was a teacher in our girls' school. We always shared ideas about teaching and he never said no to all those who needed his help especially about school. He was very generous with people, and he loved working with his students. When he was transfered to Italy we missed him in the Holy land.I was so glad when I heard that he was in the Monastery of the Holy Land in Wahington DC, because since I now live in the In the united states, there was a chance to pay him a visit, which I did and the last one was a couple of months ago.I was glad that I was able to see him.I remember him telling me to pray for him, which I did. May he now rest in peace, I am sure that he will pray for the Holy Land, and the friars there whom he loved so dearly.Brother Aloysius you will be missed, pray for us.
