Andre Harris Obituary
Suddenly on Monday, May 29, 2006. Survived by his father, Andre R. Sheppard; mother, Thelma J. Harris; two sisters, Christina Irby and Cortezria "Nicky" Peppers; grandparents, James Sheppard, James and Marcella Brown. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Friends are invited to call at Antioch Church, 1120 Queen St., Alexandria, VA on Saturday, June 3 from 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Interment Coleman Cemetery. Arrangements by LEWIS FUNERAL HOME.

Malachi, I remember seeing you grow up. You were always so sweet and giving. Thomas and I had just saw you last month and you were so excited about this music thing that you were getting into! I remember us telling you to stay focused and you would make it in the industry. Now you are in heaven, making music. I am going to miss seeing you around Hagel Circle but I know that you are in a better place. Watch over us and keep us safe. We will meet again some day. --My heart goes out to the family and you will remain in my prayers.

To the Brown, Sheppard, Harris, Pepper Family,
Its never easy for those left behind. But when you lose someone so senselessly and unexpectedly, we all feel the shock.
May it help to know how many people share your sorrow and stand with you at your time of need.

I don't know where to start. Malachi i love you. I feel for his mom and dad i'm so sorry. And i would like for them to contact me because i have pictures of Malachi when we were in 5 th and 6th grade. Its been 2 years that i have not seen you. And i was talkin about you the other day. And then i found out today what happen. I cant believe this. But I'll be up there 1 day to see you. Watch over us because i'll be lookin up in the sky to see dat smile of yours.. I'm so sorry. I LOVE YOU MALACHI!!!!!!

Hey cuz, I did not ever meet you at least I don't remember. My mom Kim had me around your dad Ricky and Debbie while I was younger; maybe we met then. But I love you we are family, and I am sorry I did not make it to your funeral, but know that I love you, and Ricky my prayers are with you and the rest of our family that mourns at this time.

Although I didn't know Malachi, my daughter and her friends said that he was a caring and loving person. He will be truly missed. I’d like to express my sincere condolences to family, friends, and those lives that he touched. Everyone is in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

Malachi i miss you so much when you died i cryied. i wish may i wish i might i would love to see you to night in my dreams there are streams that we sit by we look at the sky and said hi! i will come to visit you every year and every year i shed a tear i know i will see you one day in heaven and you can tell me how it has been. every stepi take is a move that you could have made i miss you so much in art your smile and singing brought joy to me in my eyes lays tears but when i come up the we can have a cheers. Malachi "I miss you so much it breaks my heart that you had to go why? when you died i cried i miss they way you would come into the art room and have fun always singing smiling and i'm so sorry you had to go i pray every day and every night. i wish i may i wish i might when i take my flight i would love to see you that night. When i come to see you every year i will shed a tear. put in a cuple good words for me and you will always be in my heart my life and intill i die your my ANGEL always and for ever. Lil Malachi, I cant believe its true. All things happen for a reason and maybe god felt that you have lived your life long enough and it was time for you to come home. Our thoughts and prayers are with you...Malachi will truly be missed as he was special...to all. May your hearts be lifted knowing that he is still SINGING. While Malachi was close to all of his family, we know he had an especially strong bond with his father...Ricky, I remember a few of those occasions with the two of you and it was special...try to keep in mind that Malachi was needed elsewhere for a reason.

Malachi was like a little brother to me. I will miss him very much. I send my condolences out to his family, especially his father, Mr. Shepherd, whom was like a second father to me, and kept me in line. Malachi, I love and miss you. We will see each other again, one day. I know you're watching down on me.
