ANGELA J. SUMMERS May 30, 1943 - August 25, 2013
On August 25, 2013 of Washington, DC. Beloved daughter of the late Angela J. Slaughter and Wilbert T. Slaughter, Sr., precious sister of Wilbert T. Slaughter, Jr., loving mother of Lawrence, Annette, and Angelo "Tony" Harrington, Sr. (Erika), dear grandmother of Antwan Harrington, Shanel and Natalie Harrison, Angelo II, Myles and Tori Harrington and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation at 12 p.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2013, Pope Funeral Home, 5538 Marlboro Pike, Forestville, MD 20747.

Ms. Angela,
You were a blessing to me. I enjoyed seeing you come to class with that beautiful smile every morning. I am going to miss you so much. However, I know that you are in god hands with the Lord and that you will ways be watching out for all of us you loved so much. RIP and I love you. To the Family: My fond memories of Angela is her passion about watching her grandchildren play basketball. She was at every game cheering the team on! Cherish the memories and live her legacy. God will comfort you and strengthen you during this transition.
