Melissa and Clara,
You are often in my thoughts. I would love to meet Clara sometime and catch up with you, too, Melissa. Your Mom was such an inspiration to the rest of us in her acceptance of the Cancer, but also the determination not to let it stop her from living and enjoying her friends and family. I would have guessed that she would be someone who lived a long life, but Clara and she shared a beautiful relationship, just as your Mom and I did with our grandmother, Florence Rebecca Lovelace Thompson. I am sure that her memories of Mama followed her as she spent time with Clara.
Your Mom and Grandma, Nancy Louise Thompson Hagemann will always remain in my heart, and I miss them every day.

May your mother's love, compassion, kindness and strength always be a beacon of light for you. She will always be with be with you. I have always loved and admired your mother, she overcame every obstacle that God gave her, she never gave up, and continued to grow through those obstacles. My love, DeDe
