ANNA U. CHAMOT
On November 2, 2017 Anna Uhl Chamot of Washington, DC, widow of Guy Andre Chamot, mother of Alain Chamot, sister of Lucia Uhl, and parent to her adored Himalayans, lost her brief but intense battle with pancreatic cancer.Family will receive friends at 5316 MacArthur Blvd., NW, Washington, DC, Tuesday, November 28, from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8:30 p.m.The funeral will be held at the Bethlehem Chapel of the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, DC at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 29. A reception will follow from 12 Noon to 3 p.m. at St. Albans Parish Nourse Hall. A private interment ceremony will be held that afternoon at The Oak Hill Cemetery, Washington, DC. Email condolences can be sent to [email protected] Mail can be sent to Chamot Family, 5316 MacArthur Blvd NW, Washington, DC 20016. An online memorial is available at josephgawlers.comIn lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to help her beloved elephants and African wildlife to the African Wildlife Foundation (www.awf.org). Throughout her cancer treatment, her goal was to be strong enough to enjoy a glass of wine on her birthday. Please enjoy one for her!

Anna , a most gracious and kind woman, made everyone feel at peace and at home.... I adored her and marveled at her accomplishments professionally as well.
