Anne Coe Heyniger
Anne Coe Heyniger, age 87, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2022 at Brighton Gardens of Friendship Heights. Beloved mother of Kristen Anne Heyniger of Fairfax, VA, William Lambert Heyniger of Washington, DC, and Nicholas Savage Heyniger of Strongsvillle, OH. Loving Grandmother of Nicole Anne Heyniger, John Lambert Heyniger and Hobey Coe Heyniger. Loving sister of Linda Chamberlaine Coe. Anne was predeceased by her parents William and Katherine Coe and one sister, Katherine Coe Ruffin. Anne spent much of the last 15 years at her residence in Virginia Beach, VA. Her life included many years overseas as a diplomatic spouse, serving as a fundraising officer for public radio station WETA-FM and other nonprofits, and more than a decade spent teaching English at the university level in Timisoara, Romania. Anne will be missed by her family and friends, especially her dog Rosie. A memorial service will be held in Washington, DC at a later date in March 2023. Online condolences may be expressed at:

My wife, Sara, and I are very sorry for Anne´s passing. I was a volunteer for WETA-FM back in the 1970´s, and I worked closely with Anne. She gave Us a lovely wooden stool for our 1977 wedding that still sits in our family room. Anne and Kristen used to sing in The Christmas Revels and we enjoyed seeing them. Anne was a dear person and very supportive during the years I worked with her. Sending our thoughts and prayers.
