On Saturday, September 22, 2002 of Greenbelt, MD. Beloved wife of the late Lester M. Sanders, Jr.; loving mother of Christine Macon, Richard Sanders, Amy Sanders-White, and Matthew Sanders, as well as a brother, Michael Stewart. Preceded in death by a son, Joseph Sanders. Cherished niece of Mary. E. Darling and June Darling. "Maw" leaves 12 grandchildren and two great granddaughters. She is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and beloved friends and a lifetime friend, Joanne Trigger. Friends may call at GASCH'S FUNERAL HOME, 4739 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, MD on Tuesday, September 24, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 25, at 11 a.m. at Faith Independent Baptist Church, 7700 Northern Ave., Glenn Dale, MD. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Faith Independent Baptist Church following the graveside service.
