On Saturday, July 3, 2004. Beloved son of Anthony Brown, Sr. and LaShawn Knight Brown. Survived by several, brothers, sisters, grandparents and a host of other relatives and friends. On Wednesday, July 7, famly will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the ROBERT G. MASON FUNERAL HOME, 1661 Good Hope Rd., S.E. Homegoing services, Thursday, July 8, at Union Temple Baptist Church, 1225 W St., S.E. Rev. Willie Wilson, officiating. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

I miss u so much and i am still trying to figure out how to do this without you, but i am some how finding the strength to hang in there. It is so hard to do but I know that u would want me to keep my head up, because u always told me i am your Lil Soldier. Elevation will never be the same without you Ant. It is sad you had to go but atleast you are in a better place. To the parents of Ant, I feel your pain b/c I to lost my son. Be strong and trust and believe that you will see your son again one day. To the Elevation band keep on elevating to bigger and better things. To the parents of Anthony,

I don't know the two of u but i know u r good people because of who Ant grew up 2 be. I've known Ant for a few years now and he was not only great on the mic but he was a great person. I went 2 see him and elevation when they first started out and played at McNamara and I saw them routinely from then on out til about late 2002. I stopped doing the go-go thing period when my son was born but Ant still always showed me love regardless of whether i was there or not. That was my man 4real and he really will be missed. All my heart goes out to your entire family. Keep your heads up.

It seems like it was just yesterday at Benjamin Stoddert Middle Schoool where I met Anthony.He has always been a sweet and respectful young man. I haven't seen him in two years but I still remember the words we've exchanged. Anthony will be missed and my condolences goes out to his loved one's. We know you are in a better place now.

We lost a very fine young man, but God has already stepped in with His healing process. Sure, we will miss him, but as christians we can't help but feel a little envious of Ant, because he is in Glory!
