To My Sister and My Poppy
I know that the day Antoine was born brought great joy to your lives as it did to everyone else's. I also know that the day he got sick brought a lot of pain and misunderstanding as to why him, but along with that you both had the faith and will to believe that Antoine would make it a lot further than all of the doctors said he would. So I say to you both, I know that there will be times when you miss him so much that it hurts, but don't forget that you still have two little men at home that are still here and still need you both so very much.
I also say to you that even though Antoine had to leave, he didn't leave you here alone. He did his best to make sure and see Tyler through two years so that you both would be okay when it was time for him to go. So don't look at it as a sad thing, but as Antoine saying mommy and daddy I have done what I needed to do to make sure that you both would be okay. Even though you can't see him or talk to him in the physical, don't stop talking to him because I know that he can hear you. Also whenever you need some one to talk and laugh with you know I am always here for the both of you. I know it may seem as though Tyler may not remeber Antoine, believe me he does because everytime he sees Antoine's picture he always say " Antoine 'chelle Antoine!"

To a very special Grandson, Antoine you will always be in my heart, I will never forget the times that I shared with you, It was because of you Antoine that my heart was inspired to go back to school, and it was the opportunity that you instilled in me that made me finished. I enjoyed the times that I slept on your bedroom floor from Friday to Sunday, not because I had to but because I wanted to be right there beside you. And I would definitely sleep with one eye open. I loved the mornings that we were the only two up on Sunday, watching Bishop and Co-Pastor as they preached. And the times that I would walk you down the hallway to your parents room, you know I never left you out of anything. You learned to shoot your basketball into the hoop,you ate cookies and other snacks and loved every bit of it. Your smiles to me would indicate that you were enjoying yourself. So my sweet wookey,wook (remember this is what I called you) your legacy will always live on in me, and I will continue to strive for the best, I truly enjoyed caring for you and I thank-you for the opportunity to love you.
Your granny (Ernestine).

To Antoine and Katina,
The day Antoine was born brought so much Joy to your lives. The night before Antoine was born, Michelle and I visited Katina in the hospital because we were going out of town. The next day, we were so overjoyed to learn that little Antoine was born healthy. Since that day he has brought so much joy to our lives. When Antoine became sick, we were all so devastated. GOD showed us that Antoine was still our shinning light and healthy in his eyes. His shinning smile and wet kisses brought so much joy to me. Antoine never missed out on anything. His parents cared for him and treated him like any of their other kids. He was so special that the Make A Wish Foundation granted him a trip to Disney World and he had a ball!
On several occassion, Little Antoine and I brought in the New Year together. I felt so special and blessed to be able to share that time with him. We would say our prayers together and I would sing to him. Antoine had a beautiful smile and if you were fortunate enough to catch them, it would bring joy to your heart. When he smiled it would light up his hole face. It was like an Angel was looking up at you and telling me that he Loved me. When Antoine didn't want to be bothered he would ignore you and later peep out of one of his eyes. He would let you know when his one shoe bothered him and he wanted you to take it off. He was special that way.
Antoine was so loved by all who came into his presence and most of all by his parents.
I will miss our special time together, your warm heart, loving ways and beautiful shinning smile. GOD has called home his special Angel, but he will forever be in our hearts. I can just imagine you up in Heaven doing all of this things you were not able to do on earth...laughing, talking, walking playing and just having a ball. Smile on little Angel, smile on.
Katina, I sing your praise every day. You are a beautiful, loving, giving and strong individual. We all know that you loved Antoine with all your heart and he didn't want for anything. I dont know very many young mothers who would have done what you have. I will always sing your praise and I will always be there for you.
Antoine, you are my first born and I will always love you. You loved Little Antoine with all your heart. I know you will miss him but he is in Heaven smiling down and watching over all of you. All you have to do is close your eyes and you will see his smiling face. You too, are strong, loving, caring and a giving person. There is nothing you wouldn't do for anyone. God Blessed you both with Markell and Tyler and he will see you through this. Just call on him and he will be there. Love Mom.

I remember the day when you were born and your grandmother Sharon told me that Tina wanted me to be your godmother. I was happy to have a godson because my other god children were girls. I thank God everyday for the little time we did get to spend together. As a sick child you were always in/out of the hospital and God gave you two of the best parents in the world. I have your picture on my desk in your santa outfit and hat. Just know that I will never forget you for as long as I live.
Love Your Godmother

To the entire Richardson family my prayers are with you at this time. Especially to, Antoine Sr. aka POP. It has been many years since I came to know of that special gentlemen in your life, your son Antoine. I remeber back at Bowie State how your face would light up that he was still strong through all the struggle and in acknowledgement of the joy he brought to you and your family. Be encouraged and know that OUR GOD, never fails! I am so proud of the progress that you have made in life as a MAN and a FATHER. Know that not only me, but the entire sisterhood of Distinguished Women of Success (DWS) are praying that you be blessed with God's Love, Peace and most of all His GRACE! Love you much Pop-O-Magic!!!

A bright light has gone from your home but the memories will last forever in you heart. Especially the way Antoine communicated with you, by showing you that he loved to get his hair washed and not braided

Richards Family;
I am sorry about your lost. Your son has served his time here on earth. God sent him here to served his purposse and that is what he has done. He has been such a wonderful son to you and your husband. He has been a loving and wonderful brother to his brothers and a perfect resepectful gentleman to his other family and friends. God has called your little man (Antoine) to cone above and get his wings that he has reserved for him. Now he smiles down from heaven looking over you. He hear and feels the pain that you are feeling now and wants you to be strong as you were when he was here on earth. Antoine is in such a better place now dancing and singing in the GOLDEN GATES with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He could not be in better hands. So you just cry your tears... because there is nothing wrong with you missing him but always remember that he is with you and in your heart everyday. Antoine has already had a conversation with GOD about you Katrina, his dad and his brothers. He told him how you all spent time together, how loving you were and he can't wait until you all finish serving your purpose here on earth that GOD has intended for you to do until you meet again through those GOLDEN GATES and get your wings. Until then be strong and I will keep you and your family in my prayers. God Bless

It's Auntie again I cannot sleep. I keep thinking of your life and how much you meant to me. I dont know how we will carry on. You were loved so much. I am so glad that you came into our lives and changed them. Antoine yo changed us. You taught us so much in your short time on this earth. To my sister, I am so proud to call you my big sister. There is no woman (other than Mommy) stronger and more committed to their kids than you. I hope that instead of feeling sad about Antoine leaving us that you find strength in this. No that he will always be here and can never be replaced. Dont doubt GOD's word and his choice to call home an angel because remember "HE ONLY CALLS THE BEST". I love you and am here if you need me day or night. To Markell, auntie is so proud of you. Thank you for being the young man that you are. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. You are truly your mother "ROCK". Tyler, keep giving mommy and daddy a run for their money. They need it. To my Brother in-law, I love you and you know how we go. No words can explain the joy I feel when I see you'll together. You too need to try to stay strong and remember GOD is "always" in control.
