ANTOINETTE MBALLA EYOMBO (Age 40)
Of Burtonsville, MD passed away on March 14, 2016. Born to Margaret Bella and Basil Bachi Eyombo on April 3, 1975 in Muyuka, Cameroon. She is survived by her three children, Jordan, Jade and Jackson; parents, brother, Dr. Leo B. Eyombo; other siblings, relatives and friends. Memorial service, viewing and wake will be conducted from 5:30 p.m. until 1 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Resurrection Catholic Church, 3315 Greencastle Rd., Burtonsville, MD and where Services will be held Saturday, April 9, visitation from 10 a.m. until hour of service at 11 a.m. Burial, 1 p.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemtery, Silver Spring, MD. Arrangements by JB JENKINS FUNERAL HOME.

One of the things I loved about Toni is that having spent some of her formative years in the US, she was broad in mind and spirit. She opened her heart to people of all ethnicities. Today I think also of her children; some are still adolescents while others are on their way to adulthood. Praying that their mothers legacy and the love of family is enabling them to become all they are called to be. I send blessings and greetings to all who were touched by Toni especially those who were part of KAL.

I smile with joy and admiration as I think of Tony's vitality; of the passion and playfulness with which she lived her life. I pray that her children are reminded through wonderful stories of her strengths and her love for them so that these might be a legacy that sustains them.

Toni, we are not sisters by blood, but from an obscure place in time, we knew God put us together to be sisters by heart. We may lose the fight to death, but not the battle to life. You were gone so suddenly, but we shall meet again. Until then, may you rest in peace my sister and friend.
