Ardis Orr Obituary
Of Miami, FL passed away in Bowie, MD on December 13, 2004. She was born to Edward Albert and Marjorie Wake on November 14, 1930. She lived in West Palm Beach, FL until 1980 when she moved to Maryland to be near her children. Before moving to Maryland, she taught in the Palm Beach County School System for 27 years. She is survived by her children, Eric Orr (Julia) of Georgia, Pamela McKenzie (Edward) of Maryland and Tracye Orr of DC; grandchildren, Maya, Michelle and Joshua Orr and Lauren McKenzie; sisters, Wilma Gilbert, Marjorie Sharp and Athea Hayling; brother, Alexander and their families, in-laws, Dr. Lavdena Orr, Eula Orr, Juanita Orr and Virginia Orr. Visitation will be held at Largo Community Church, 1701 Enterprise Rd., Mitchellville, MD at 10 a.m. on December 20, 2004. Funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Arrangements by J.B. JENKINS.
