ARLENE MERSKY Obituary
ARLENE A. MERSKY (Age 68)
On Wednesday, August 15, 2012, ARLENE A. MERSKY died at Georgetown University Hospital after a short unexpected illness. Loving wife for 44 years of Howard Mersky; mother of Craig Mersky and Naomi Mersky-Sanabria; mother-in-law of Juan Sanabria; and Nana of Jonah. Arlene is also survived by her mother, Esther Nussbaum; her sister, Lois and many loving cousins, aunts and uncles. Arlene's passion for the arts, dance and travel started early at the High School of Performing Arts in Manhattan, training at the School of American Ballet and choreographer at Hofstra University. She traveled to all seven continents and more than 40 countries; played tennis and savored red wine. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012, 10 a.m. at Danzansky Goldberg Memorial Chapels, 1170 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852. Interment Judean Memorial Gardens. Immediately following the service the family will be receiving friends at the family residence. Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Program in memory of Arlene A. Word of Arlene' passing got to me in Ocean City a little late. I am so sorry for your loss and will alway remember Arlene as my "real estate friend" who fought her diseae so bravely.
