Mary, Brandon, Byron and Bryant my heart goes out to you in this sad occassion, but we know that all things work for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose.. I didn't know your husband but we have had conversations and I know he was a good man. May God continue to bless each of you during your time of need. Please know that the family is in my prayers...

Art was the type of man that knew so much about so much! He loved sharing his life experiences, and was ALWAYS ready and willing to lend a helping hand. He was a great husband and father...he will be greatly missed! How blessed I am to have known him…
May the Lord grant you all peace and understanding.

What a class act!!! There are so many things I wanted to say, but I just want to remember Art for the truly real person that he was. There were no secrets who he was...he would let you know. Through all of the mountains he climbed, he never complained to everyone and he was always concerned about others. He was in the hospital and would always ask Don how I was doing. His main concern was that I not end up with the problems he was having. I appreciate that and I can still hear him when I start straying from my eating the right things.
I will miss Art but I feel so blessed that I got to know him. I'm also very glad that he was always there to encourage Don. We will so miss him.
