BAMBI LYLE RICHARDSON (Age 53)
On Wednesday, August 26, 2015, Bambi Lyle Richardson of Alexandria, VA. Preceded in death by her mother, Mary I. Smith and husband, Bobby Richardson. Loving daughter of Clay Mohler; step-daughter of Eleanor Presley; step-daughter of James G. Smith; sister to Jason Mohler; spiritual sister to LaDonna Stanley and Peaches Meyer; and godmother to Anthony Thompson (aka AJ), Janice Springer and Lindsey Meyer.Bambi was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration and previously by the Postmasters, MCI and Bubbles Salon where she greatly enjoyed being a cosmetologist. She had a love for animals, specifically cats. She loved people and enjoyed every opportunity to be in the company of those who could appreciate good food, fellowship and laughter. She had a penetrating smile, gifted hands and a deep desire to assist others when possible.The viewing will be Sunday, August 30 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Calvary Road Baptist Church, 6811 Beulah Street, Alexandria VA 22310, where funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Interment following at Mount Comfort Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Gideons International, c/o of Calvary Road Baptist Church.

My deepest sympathies to all of Bambi's relatives and cherished friends. She was a gift of sweetness and love especially to our niece, Jeri Sutter Myer and her family, they will dearly miss her presence. May she be granted the best heaven has to offer and forever find joy in God's presence and His loving arms around her, until all of you meet again one day. May the angels carry her swiftly into Paradise.
