Barbara and I were study buddies in grad school at Catholic University. We soon became great friends!! Sharing the love of learning, passion for helping others, and most importantly, fashion and great makeup!!
We worked hard to become Nurse Practitioners...but our friendship came easily!
We shared the importance of being independent as professional women, and took great pride in our accomplishments.. despite our shared struggles with classroom didactics..
I would have never made it through grad school without Barbara!!
I am so saddened to hear about her passing.
She was not only elegant and witty, but a deep source of wisdom to me.
With my deepest condolences to Patrick, the boys and their families.
