Barbara Temple Obituary
Barbara Ann Jones Temple
A native of Laurens, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at the age of 87 at her residence in Lanham, Maryland. Barbara was born on June 15, 1935, to the late Mrs. JoElla Madden Jones and Mr. Hammie Jones. She was a beautiful, compassionate woman, who was loved by everyone. Barbara is survived by her stepdaughter, Sheila Temple-Holland; step granddaughters, Dana Ceasar, Maisha Kingsberry, Chika Byrd; and step grandson Nicholas Ransom; two nephews: Derrick and Eugene Miller; three great-nieces: Teka Miller-Alston, Rashiea Miller and Elanda Miller and many other relatives. The family will receive friends for Visitation, Friday, March 3, 2023, 10 a.m., the Homegoing Services immediately following at 11 a.m., Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 4611 Sheriff Road, NE Washington, DC.
