Shumate of Roanoke, VA; brother of Wanda Baymiller; grandfather of Matthew, Melissa and Jennifer Whiting and Erin Shumate. Friends may call at MONEY AND KING FUNERAL HOME, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Friday, January 3, 2003 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1325 Scotts Run Rd., McLean, VA on Saturday, January 4 at 9 a.m. Interment Rock Creek Cemetery. Mr. Whiting served 36 years with the U.S. Government, including the F.B.I. and the U.S.A.I.D.
