Betsy Kutscher Obituary
Betsy, beloved wife of Ronald E. Kutscher, mother of Laura K (Tim Stoessel) and Steven (Karin Lomicky), beloved grandmother of Chris, Peter, and Ben, sister of Rick Granholm (Carol) and Jan Prentice (Bob), and cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Karl Granholm, her mother Betty Granholm, and her brother Rick Granholm.
Betsy cherished her profession as a dental hygienist. She served as President of the DC Dental Hygienist Association 1965-67. After she retired, she organized and joyfully ran a Dental Clinic for homeless women at N Street Village in DC from 1996 to 2009.
Betsy served as an active leader in many areas at her church, Redeemer Lutheran in McLean, VA. Her favorites were being a lay minister and also chair for the Stained-Glass Window Project now part of the beautiful front atrium and inside the church.
Celebration of life for Betsy will be Saturday June 28, 2025, 1:30 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1545 Chain Bridge Road, McLean, VA.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to N Street Village, 1333 N Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005, to Redeemer Lutheran Church, or to a fund of your choice that is organized to help people.

Betsy´s was one of the first smiling faces to greet me when I first began singing at Encore in 2011. She called me Janet with a "J" and I called her Betsy with a "B´ from then on. I remember her warm smile, her great hugs, and her quick wit. So sorry to lose her.
