Betty Saunders Obituary
BETTY JEAN SAUNDERS
Entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Saunders; eight grandchildren, Toni Garnes-Horsey, LaTasha Saunders, LaTieya Sparrow, Robert Sparrow Jr., Dion Saunders, Daquan Saunders, Sherah Saunders, and Gary Saunders Jr.; 16 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one sister Frances Walker. Preceded in death by husband, Donald Saunders; son, Donald Saunders Jr.; daughter, Sharon Sparrow; son, Gary Saunders; five sister;, three brothers, and her parents, Golar and Viola Parker. Mrs. Saunders will lie in state at Fort Foote Baptist Church, 8310 Ft. Foote Rd., Ft. Washington MD on Thursday November 17, 2022. Viewing begins at 10 a.m. followed by service at 11 a.m. Interment at Cheltenham Veteran Cemetery on November 30, 2022.
