BETTY JEAN WILLIAMS
On Friday, January 23, 2015. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Laronn Burton; two brothers, David Blair and Mack Blair (Michelle); three sisters, Marylyn Simmons, Carolyn Freeman and Tammie General (Darrell); two grandchildren, Tyrone Johnson (Civonna) and Walter Burton; one great-grandchild, Christian Wilson; a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held on Friday, January 30 at Peoples Community Church, 653 11th St. NE, Washington, DC. Viewing 9 a.m., funeral 11 a.m. Interment Glenwood Cemetery. Services entrusted to R.N. HORTON CO. MORTICIANS.

My sincere condolences are extended to the family of Betty Jean. Words cannot express the warm heart that she shared with everyone. May God comfort you all. I wish I had known about her transition. I would have tried to travel to DC, if not, I could have sent a tribute to the family. Rest In Peace, dear Beautiful Lady of Joy. Betty, always had a wonderful smile to greet one. I miss my girl Joann too. I didn't know she'd had passed away. Now, the sisters are rejoicing together and having a shouting good time with our Lord.

I am so sadden to learn of Betty's passing. I just saw the posting on FB. Oh, my what a blow to my heart. Please know, the entire family is in my prayers and thoughts. Betty was such a joy and a very kind person.
May God grant you all the peace and comfort during this time.
The entire family members were so good to me and my daughter when living in the DC area and fellowshipping with Peoples Community Church. Rest in Pear Dear Betty Jean.
