BEULAH M. NEWTON (Age 92)
On Monday, September 27, 2021, Beulah M. Newton of Washington, DC peacefully entered into eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, Homer A. Newton. She leaves to mourn her brother, Larence H. Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, extended family and dear friends. Visitation 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m.,Thursday,October 7, 2021 at New Bethel Baptist Church, 1739 9th St., NW. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Arrangements by POPE.

I met Mrs. Newton when I was a child. She was always so beautiful in appearance and style, but what really stood out most to me about this little lady was her voice, how she greeted people with such a caring voice, soft and comforting. Thank you Mrs. Newton for being such a kind woman to many. You will be missed. May you rest in Gods arms peacefully.
