On September 1, 2016 of Silver Sping, MD. Perpetually professed in the Priestly Fraternity of St. Dominic. (Br. Hyacinth Maria). Catholic priest of the Diocese of Duluth. Born April 18, 1926 in Warsaw, Poland. Widower, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, was ordained to priesthood June 12, 1994, after the death of his wife Ida. Veteran of World War II, 2nd Lt. Polish Army, participant in Warsaw Uprising of 1944, he was awarded the Officer''s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. Chemist by profession, he was also an essayist and editor. Relatives and friends may call at St. Catherine Laboure, Veirs Mill and Claridge Roads, Wheaton, MD 20902 on Monday, September 12 from 10 to 11 a.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
