To the Falk Family,
I had the opportunity to see Brandon working with patients at the hospital and to care for some of them after they left SGAH and went to other facilities. He was a compassionate and careful physician. Though I did not work with him directly, he was the kind of physician that every patient wants to have. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family during this time.

I always saw you all as such a strong and close family, I hope that strength is carrying you through this difficult time. I am so sad that I was unable to drive up with Rick for the service tomorrow, but my back is just not ready for such a long car trip. I wish I could be there for you at this sad time. I am so saddened at the loss of such a beautiful young life, I can't even imagine what it is like for you. May your faith and your closeness to each other continue to sustain you. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and with Brandon as they have been the last few days and will continue to be. We love you all, and we miss you.

At times like these it is most difficult to find words to express how sad we are for the loss you’ve experienced. Just as words alone cannot convey how special Brandon was to each of you. Times like this are dreaded by loving families who have witnessed the passing of a beloved child and sibling. Elaine and Randy, expressions of sympathy seem not to be enough for you and your family. No words can express the hurt you feel. I hope you know I am here for you today tomorrow and the days to follow. Brandon was loved in many ways. Brandon’s kind heart and intelligence led him, to a successful career in medicine. The smile he gave that brightened the room. When nothing else could. He will be missed every moment of everyday. He will never be forgotten and his memories, achievements, crazy adventures, humorous sayings, and the person he was will bring smiles to the ones that knew him every time a memory of him touches us all. Some of us can live our whole lives and never accomplish or become the person Brandon was in the short time he was on this earth.

Dr. Falk will be greatly missed. I had the pleasure of working with him at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. He was a very brilliant and compassionate individual. His death is a great loss to everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with him and all his family and friends.
