Dear Robin, Andrew and Gregory,

We are so saddened to hear of Brian's passing.
We wish that there was something that could be said to ease your sorrow. We have many happy memories of Brian.
(Robin, it seems like only yesterday that you and Brian took me to see the Caps play when I was at GW.)
Brian was a good man and he will be missed.
We hope that you find some solace in that fact and in the many lives he touched.

Love,
Richard, Sara, Ben and Sam

Robin
I am very sorry for your loss. I will always think of Brian as this young charming guy who as a preteen could make me blush with a smile. When you and your children think of him I hope it is the good time you remember, not the times of illness. You are my thoughs and prays.

Dear Family,
It was with deep sadness that again we joined together at unhappy occassions. I know Poppy, Nanny, and Maurice, are watching over us with gentle warmth and holding out strength for all of you. My thoughts are with you today the last day of shivah. My thoughts are of Brian most days and will truly love his family as long as I live.

Robin, Andrew and Gregory

We are so sorry for your loss and I know few words soften how deep you feel that at this time but I am sure you feel deeply for how Brian touched and shaped your lives and those feelings will always carry with you in your heart and in the moments you need his strength and love the most.

Brian (or Batman to me)was a terrific friend and cousin to all of us and we will always remember his smile and friendly way he engaged his Philly cousins (even though we routed for the Eagles and Cowboys).

All our love

Dear Robin, Andrew & Gregory
I am so deeply saddended by the passing of such a wonderful human being. He will be missed by a great number of people whose lives have been blessed by just his friendship.I was very fortunate to have spent many a Sunday morning with Brian running up and down the football field and I always enjoyed his passion for the team and the game. He was a great teammate and an even greater friend. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Melnick family during this very difficult time. Thank you Brian, for all the wonderful memories.

Robin,
We met you and Brian through our son-in-law Ricky. You two were a golden couple, beautiful together and so very warm and friendly to us...to everyone. Brian and Ricky were childhood friends and they remained close throughout their lives. Though golf was Brian's sport, we remember seeing him at the school ice hockey games...even after your kids were no longer in school..his interest was keen. To us, he was Mr. Ice Hockey. Our memories of Brian will be of his zest for life and for his family, of his warmth and good humor. Our world is richer for him being here and poorer now that he is gone. Our hearts go out to you and to your family as we share in your grief and send you our love.
