BRUCE KEVIN KANTOR
On Sunday, January 8, 2017 of Laurel, MD. Loving brother of Barbara (Tommy) Veirs, Alan (Cindy) Kantor and Robert (Sheri) Kantor. Also survived by nieces and nephews, Tom (Claire) Veirs, Rachel Veirs, Lauren Veirs, Victoria Veirs, Graham Kantor, Haley Kantor, Blake Kantor and Alexa Kantor.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 11, 1 p.m. at Kol Shalom, 9110 Darnestowm Rd., Rockville, MD 20850, with reception to follow at Lakewood Country Club, 13901 Glen Mill Rd., Rockville, MD. Family will be observing Shiva Wednesday, January 11 and Thursday, January 12 with minyan at 7:30 p.m. at the residence of Rob and Sheri Kantor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Capital Alzheimer's Association in honor of his deceased parents, Sara and Dan Kantor, www.alz.org/nca. www.sagelbloomfield.com

I was shocked and sadden to hear of Bruce's passing. I will miss his smile, quick wit, and the way he made us all laugh (he certainly had a gift for that). My thoughts and prayers continue for his family, Marg, and his many friends. The beach definitely won't be the same without him.

I am so sorry for your loss/our loss. I got to know Bruce by hanging out with him at the beach and on several ski trips. I will miss his sense of humor and zest for life. Rest in Peace my friend.

Our condolences to The Kantor family and all of Bruce's dearest loved ones. Jim and I are both so incredibly saddened by the loss of Bruce. He was such a great man, but even more importantly, a good friend to all who knew him! We will miss him terribly - the back bar at Starboard won't be the same without him! RIP my friend.
