BRUCE SULLIVAN Obituary
BRUCE E. SULLIVAN "Sully"
On Friday, December 26, 2014 passed away after a long battle with cancer at his home in Lorton, VA with his loving family by his side. Sully was the beloved husband of Mary Sullivan; devoted father of the late Sean Sullivan (Heather), Megan Sullivan Kirby (Chris), Corey Sullivan (Abbey) and Kieran Sullivan and proud grandfather of seven grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Jackson, Carson, Hannah, Connor, Chloe & the late Joshua. He was also preceded in death by his father, Bertrand J. Sullivan and is survived by his mother, Pauline Sullivan and three siblings: Allan (Kathy), Karen (Dom Cimeno) and Glenn (Carole) Sullivan as well as by many loving nieces & nephews and a host of extended family and friends. He was also a "special papa" to Anna. Relatives and friends may gather at Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Dr. Alexandria, VA on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Ft. Belvoir Woodlawn Chapel, 1801 Wright Rd. Ft. Belvoir, VA will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. Inurnment with Honors will be conducted at Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, the Wounded Warrior Project or Capital Caring Hospice in his memory.

Gone, but not forgotten. Five years for us; a mere moment in time for him. Bruce was an outstanding government employee and personal associate. He is one of the few whose accomplishments improved government operations and won my admiration. Best wishes to Mary and family.
