C.R. Dove Obituary
C.R. George Dove
C.R. George Dove passed away on October 23, 2023 from post surgical complications. Born in Annapolis, MD on February 9, 1942 to Reginald and Arita Dove, George graduated from Penn State and later received a Masters from Catholic University following his service as an officer in the US Navy. Throughout George's career he worked on award winning projects in the Washington, DC area and around the world. George received many accolades for his work in the field of Architecture, including the distinction of FAIA. George is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ann, his children Marc and Leah Renee, and his four granddaughters, Marley, Hannah, Ella and Magdalene. Services will be held at a later date. I heard about George's passing from my aunt Ruth. I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember George's kindness and his good sense of humor. My deepest condolences to Ann and the family. I was fortunate to work with George at WDG for 13 years. He was a wonderful mentor and friend and I learned so much from him. He was a great leader and architect. I will miss him dearly.
