Calvert Benedict Obituary
MG CALVERT P. BENEDICT, USA (Ret.)
Beloved husband of Gene Ferris Benedict, passed away on February 21, 2011. Born May 26, 1924 at West Point, New York, he graduated from the United States Military Academy with the class of 1946. He is also survived by his sons, Calvert, Charles, Craig and Lance, and their wives, Kim, Janet, Diohn and Renata, and his daughter, Gene Asmuth, and her husband, Peter, and 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. A memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 3 Chevy Chase Circle, Chevy Chase, MD, on Saturday, March 12 at 1:30 p.m. with a private burial service at West Point, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Knollwood FAF, 6200 Oregon Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20015.
