Lois and I taught together for fourteen years at Twinbrook Elementary School. I was the ESOL teacher there and we had many opportunities to work together with the many foreign language students who were in her classes. She had a special way of making them feel very comfortable and welcomed in spite of the language barrier. Her warm smile and gentle ways helped to give each student a sense of identity and belonging. She had an uncanny way of instantly making them feel special and accepted.
The years I spent teaching and learning from her were some of the best of my career. I will never forget her for the kindness and friendship she shared with me. I am deeply sorry for your loss at this time. May your memories of her sustain you and always bring a smile into your heart.
Sincerely yours
Angie Hersh

My Deepest condolences to the Engle family. I had brief interaction with Ms. Engle through my friend and her son Todd. I found her to be a very sweet lady. May you rest in glory.

To the Engel Family,
Sending my heartfelt condolences to family, I pray the Lord comfort you in your time of need. I worked with Lois, and enjoyed being her cubicle neighbor.
