Carol Clements-Coad Obituary
CLEMENTS-COAD CAROL CLEMENTS-COAD On Thursday, May 8, 2008, of Mitchellville, MD, she went home to be with the Lord. Beloved wife of Anthony C. Coad, Sr. of 26 years; and devoted mother of Anthony C., Jr. and Aaron M. Coad. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She also leaves to cherish her memory five brothers, six sisters, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation 10 a.m., services 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 15 at First Baptist Church of Glenarden, 3600 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD. Services by J.B. JENKINS.

I look at the pictures of us on my desk and the most recent one taken at my 50th Birthday party and it still seems so unreal that you are gone. But I have the comfort of knowing that you are smiling down on us and the memory of you will always be in my heart. I can hear you say Prejetta.

Dear Sister, I'm finding it very hard to believe that you are not here, but I believe that you are now one of my angles, one that will walk with me for the rest of my life.
p.s. I have a lot of secrets to tell you, you know the ones the girls would tell me and say, don't tell anyone else, I guess I will wisper them to you in my prayers. I miss you so very much.

A FRIEND FROM ABOVE....
I prayed for you before we met,
Not knowing who you'd be.
I asked the Lord to send a friend.
One chosen just for me.
I asked that they'd be Godly,
With wisdom of His ways.
A friend to help and guide me
I the troubles of these days.
So often in life, we need someone
To listen while we talk.
Someone who will not condemn or judge,
But encourage us as we walk.
The narrow road we choose to follow
May sometimes make us stumble.
But to have a friend to catch our fall,
Teaches us to be humble.

I can not express to you my feelings for your lose of such a great person. I only knew Mrs. Carol for a short time but she was a beautiful person inside and out. She will greatly be missed.

I was so terribly shaken when I inadvertantly came across this obituary while looking for funeral arrangement information for my uncle. Tony, you and I go way back (elementary school!) and you have always been a wonderful friend. Whenever I would run into the two of you around Mitchellville, it was though I had known Carol just as long. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. To Carol's family,
May your faith in God offer you comfort as you say fare-well, for now, to Carol. I worked with her during her tenure at Akin Gump. Carol's tenacious, outgoing and humorous personality always helped to keep Franz Rassman, and other attorneys that she worked with, on the "straight and narrow". Her spirit will always be with us. Tony and family,
I am so sorry for the lost of Carol Ann. She will be greatly missed. Although I have not seen you guys in a while, you were always apart of our extended family.... From Gainsville to Shady Side, when the two of you gave me and my sister Nikki rides in the morning to get to school.
My prayers are with you and your family. May you allow God to comfort you in your hour of grief.
