I’m so sorry to hear of Carols passing. I knew her and her brothers from when we lived at Kings Garden Apts. In the 70’s. She was a couple years older than me but she was always nice. My condolences to her family. May angels be with you.

I am not even sure where to start. I am in disbelief that this is even real. Carol was like a sister to me. I considered her family from the time we met many moons ago in Kings Gardens Apartments when I started dating her baby brother Tommy. She and Tommy taught me to drive in her beat up little car. Carol, Alan, Tommy and I went to VA Beach for the day once and she and I got so sunburned that the ride home was miserable but the memories of that trip and our late night trips to the Ranch House for chipped beef and key lime pie or Krispy Kreme for some hot delicious dough and so many other memories will continue to make me smile. The miles between us kept us from seeing each other which I regret deeply now. The loss of Carol is proof that life really is too short. The only thing about this that gives me any comfort is knowing that she is with her father and brother now. Rest In Peace Carol Ann. You will be missed. Give Tommy and your dad a big hug for me.
