I remember my cousin Carole at my nephew’s wedding. She was bright and cheerful despite the problem she just had at the airport. You see it had rained the day she arrived and the attendants left her suitcase outside. Her clothing soaked through and the colors bled together. Most people might have given up at such a sight. Carole managed to turn things around and figure out how to make the best out of what she had.
Carole was a remarkable person. Her spirit and determination allowed her to see past the obstacles in life and realize the possibilities. We will all miss her.
