To the Family

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. May you find comfort in knowing that my prayers are with you doing this difficult time. The pain gets easier to bear as time goes by. I know because I lost my brother, Levi in 1994. And I still miss him.

To Lisa and Family

How comforting it is to know that God will give you strength for the needs you face today. I lost my mom ten years ago and it still feels like yesterday, but, God through his grace continues to give me the strength to not dwell in my sorrow. With Deepest Sympathy. Beverly

TO THE FAMILY:

Mrs. Milner was a remarkably person. She was a very gracious woman and she loved her family. Family meant everything to her. She accepted me into her family and she treated me like a daughter.

When we would be just sitting around, we would talk about everything from politics to Seinfeld. Mrs. Milner mentored to me and I thank her for that.

We laughed a lot and we had a lots of fun times together.

I lost my Mother a few years ago, it still seems like she is here with me because I hold onto the memories and I have happy pictures of her throughout the house that shows her smiling as she always did. I say to myself, she is not gone; she’s on assignment doing God’s work.

Your Mother fought a tough fight throughout her illness. She was as strong as an elephant and as soft as a rose. Mrs. Milner has done what we all have to do. Think of all the happy times you had with her and your faith in God will help to get you through.

My family sends their condolences to the family and we are here for you if you need us.

To the Milner Family - Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of Catherine Milner. As one of those who grew up in the 17th & Douglas St neighborhood, I respected Mrs. Milner as one of our "mothers". Her legacy lives on through her family, many friends, and neighbors like myself who benefited greatly from having her in our lives...God Bless

I first met Catherine Milner 30 years ago when her daughter, Lisa, and I became friends. My friendship with Lisa has been a blessing for many different reasons, one of which was knowing Catherine. What an incredible woman. Loving mother of five (and later grandmother), hard-working and seemingly tireless business owner, proud Maryland delegate, a woman who was always trying her best to improve the lives of those around her. She was intelligent, warm, fly as she wanted to be, funny when you least expected it and very down-to-earth. I am thankful and honored to have known her. She will be with me always.

To Micheal and Lisa,

My condolences go out to you with the loss of your mother. It has been years since I last saw you on Douglas Street. However, I still remember our early years of friendship. May God bless you during these times of sorrow. Look to the hills from them comes your help. Your help comes from the Lord.
