CEILON HILL Obituary


CEILON RICHARD HILL  
Loving husband, father, grandfather, age 80, died at home June 26, 2012 surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with emphysema. He was born January 27, 1932, son of Ceilon Luther and Frances Marie Hill. Ceilon graduated with a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan . He enlisted in the Air Force during the Korean War and served his country in Greenland . He worked for the federal government for 30 years as a policy and grant developer for Health & Human Services. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Ann Graessle-Hill; his daughters, Lisse, Heidi and Michele; his son, Michael; grandson, Justin and granddaughter, Dylan. A memorial service is planned for late August in Michigan."

A fistful of AA High School classmates who were best friends and enlisted in the military on the same day post-WW II, remained each other's biggest fans after discharge. They share tall stories behind heaven's gate: Bob Foster, Ceilon Hill and Tom Johnson. What a trio!
