ANTHONY CHARLES HOWARD ANTHONY (Age 72) Entered into eternal rest on January 11, 2009 at P.G. Hospital. Predeceased by his wife, LaVerne Anthony in 2003. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, children, Donnie Woodruff (Denise), Jermaine Anthony Sr. (Katrina) and LaKisha Anthony-Taylor (Marteaco); grandchildren, Alexis McLean, Alonzo McLean, Denesha Woodruff, Marteaco Anthony, Demondre Fort, Jazmine Jackson, Jermayne Anthony Jr. and MaKaiya Taylor; great-grandchildren, Kari Gardner and Niya Wilson. On Saturday, January 17, 2009, friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until service time 12 Noon at Stewart Funeral Home, 4001 Benning Rd., N.E. Interment Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 10 a.m.

I didn't know Mr. Anthony but the Anthony familily that I know is strong in faith, love and family.

Please know during this difficult time in your life, the Lord has a plan for all of us.

Mr. Anthony is in heaven looking down on your familiy smiling and singing Hallelujah in Jesus' name.

Continue to Seek the LORD during this our bereavement time. Charles was a man of good character. I was telling Jermaine the other day in all the 17 years that I knew him I had never seen him anger. My prayer is that we will be able to strength our bond as a family.
