Charles Augins Obituary
He graced stages all over the world, he molded music into movement and brought the absolute best out of the students he trained. He was proud, he was fabulous, he was ferocious. He loved deeply and he was deeply loved.If you were lucky enough to have him on your side you truly felt protected ,safe and confident. He will be greatly missed as a Teacher, Son ,Brother,Family member, Father figure and Friend.
There will be a private funeral for family and close friends at the Calloway UMC, 5000 Lee Hwy, Arlington Va , 11 a.m., Friday, August 1. There will also be a public celebration of life at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts on September 14 at 2 p.m.
