Charles Cobbs Obituary
CHARLES PERRY COBBS, HMCM, US Navy (Ret.)
On Saturday, February 19, 2011; beloved husband of Catherine W. Cobbs. He is also survived by five daughters Bonnie Cobbs, Deborah Tapscott (Alvin), Cathy Magsby (Theo), Joyce Johnson (Auduran) and Toni M. Cobbs; a son Robert Cobbs (Tonga); 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister Pearl Chandler; other relatives and friends. Mr. Cobbs may be viewed at the STEWART FUNERAL HOME, 4001 Benning Rd. NE, Friday, February 25, from 6 to 9 p.m. He will lie in state at St. James Baptist Church, 402 Abel Ave., Capitol Heights, MD on Saturday, February 26, 10 a.m. until Service at 11 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Services by STEWART.

I know you had a Peaceful Father's Day because you are with our Heavenly Father but it doesn't stop me from missing you. I love you and I hope you got the fritos I left you. :-)

Our Dad
I wonder what it's like in heaven. You joined the angels in god's kingdom and left so many teary eyes weeping for the loss of a great man, dad, granddad, great granddad, brother, uncle, cousin and most of all husband.
I wonder are you feeling better since the illness is gone and the suffering is no more? You were strong, never once complained, a little stubborn at times, funny often when not expected and loving when you thought no one would notice.
This will be our first Father's Day without you. I know each one of us are remembering the many or little things we loved about you.
We are thinking about how this day will be different since you are gone from this earth but not from our hearts.
Happy Father's Day to our Dad who passed away Feb. 19, 2011. We love and miss you deeply Dad.
