Zebedee Cobbs Obituary
Born in Galveston, Texas, Zeb later made Washington State his home after serving honorably in the United States Navy. In 1972, he began a lifelong love story with his wife of 51 years, Betty "BJ" Cobbs. Family was his greatest pride and joy.
Zeb devoted more than five decades to his craft as a master barber and business owner, retiring in 2023. His barbershop was a trusted gathering place marked by wisdom, laughter, and genuine connection.
A man of steadfast faith, Zeb accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and faithfully served as a deacon at Second Baptist Church. He also gave nearly 29 years of service to the Rotary Club of Everett.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Dr. Betty Cobbs; his sons, Zebulun (Cheery Mae) and Zachary (Vicky); his four grandsons, Isaiah, Isaac, Adrian, and Julian; siblings; extended family; and dear friends.
A public viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on February 26, followed by an 11:00 a.m. service at Second Baptist Church in Everett.
