Janet Goad

1939 - 2026

Janet Marie (Witter) Goad, 86, passed away February 12, 2026, in Seattle, Washington. She was born March 24, 1939, in Snohomish. Janet graduated from Edmonds High School and later earned her associate's degree from Edmonds Community College. She owned her own accounting business. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margie and Forrest Witter; her brother, Dale Witter; and her husband, Robert France. Janet is survived by her sister: Judy; children: Scott, Kimberlee, Steven; grandchildren: Daniel, Megan, Jordan, Taylor, Michael, Zachary; great-grandchildren Kaylee, Griffin, Dawson; Nieces Rhonda, Amy; nephews: Darryl, Babe, Jesse; her significant other, Ben Forrester. Janet enjoyed quilting, golfing, traveling, kayaking, geocaching, mushroom picking, and especially with family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. March 24, 2026, at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Rd., Lynnwood, WA 98036
