CHARLES H. KITTRELL
Peacefully joined his heavenly Father on Saturday, October 19, 2013. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 67 years, Estelle M. Kittrell; children, Charles S. Kittrell, James H. Kittrell, Beverly C. Johnson (James), John R. Kittrell, Charlotte A. Diggs-Cromwell (Christopher), Althea T. Vanzego and Ellen R. Farrow; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. at Holy Comforter-Saint Cyprian Catholic Church, 1357 East Capitol Street, SE, Washington, DC 20003. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Arrangements by Pope Funeral Homes.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Charles..he was a wonderful person and a great uncle..he will be missed by many.. I have great memories about the many times we talked at his job, they will live with me forever.. My deepest condolences to Aunt Estelle, Beverly, Harold and the rest of the family..

Mr. Kittrell was a pillar in the Holy Comforter-St. Cyprian community, and will be surely missed. However, we, who are faithful know that he's resting in the ever-lasting arms of Jesus. My deepest and sincerest condolences to the Kittrell family.
